Yeah thinking about it Arsenal charge a lot more and I'm pretty sure Chelsea do as well?

For what it ms worth I think ST prices are fine, and excellent for youngsters

It's the match day prices that are ridiculous

Cough

The 3 London sides we are same as are all in and around champions league

Not sure what palace and qpr charge

I completely agree Eggbert. I'm used to drivel on the pitch but never used to care when admission was the cost of a pint.
When you're watching drivel after spunking up to 75 notes it's a different story.

I thought it was ALL about Sam's turgid football, ticket prices are about the same for all Prem London clubs aren't they?

Worst idea ever?

Kronic

If I had to guess I would say it has a lot more to do with the ticket prices than it does the football

We've been a damn site worse than this in the past and still sold out

The Kronic 12:45 Mon Sep 8
Re: Is it time for fan action...Liverpool mass exit
No one is talking about leaving in droves; but it's evident that some fans are finally voting with their feet. And it's not just down to the fat lump's turgid football.

I haven't been to many home games, but for the record I to Sheffield United because I wasn't missing it for the world. The price was a bonus. They were never going to charge £30 were they? We've struggled getting into the high twenties for round 2 fixtures!

Far Cough 12:41 Mon Sep 8
Re: Is it time for fan action...Liverpool mass exit
Whatever the reason, fans are still turning up despite Fat Sam and his awful football, so talk of people leaving in droves is not quite true

sorrry krionic I sonly saw the post below where you didn't mention it

"Nothing to do with 10 tickets then?"

I'm West Ham. I want to help a brother out. Those poor fans who feel like they've been duped into an entertaining season but to have realized it's going to be exactly the same - they've committed themselves and they regret this. I want to relieve them of their obligations. We're all family.

And I suspect I could both prove a point and get a cheaper season ticket at the same time ;)

Hence why I mentioned the opposition factor.

That it can't be down to the 10 quid tickets as we've had them in the past and got far less than 30k I would imagine

Fans are not Happy with Sam thats a problem that iam sure the Board are well aware of, But he has so far done what was asked of him , No its not been pretty but then it wasnt under Curbishley either and it was hardly a barrel of laughs with Grant ,
All that matters to the board at the moment is that we are in the PL at the end of the next season, i heard Moose on talksport saying that Sams contract is up at the end of this season, so it will be interesting to see if he lasts till then, especially if we dont start to pick up points, for me i support the team that means no matter who owns it or manages it, i see my mates on a Saturday and over a few beers we have a good old moan as we have done since the mid-70's.

We've had cheap tickets for league cup games loads of times in the past...

The Kronic 12:23 Mon Sep 8
Re: Is it time for fan action...Liverpool mass exit
Given that they continue to bombard me with spamming texts and e-mails begging me to buy tickets I'd say you're chatting utter shit.
30k turned up because it was affordable football and v Sheff Utd. No other reason.

Re: Is it time for fan action...Liverpool mass exit
Kronic... the Goons in the Goons in teh boardroom will look on that game as a massive success... yeah may of been £10 tickets but to still get 30k punters into the ground buying merchandise, beer, hot dogs etc they will be happy as Larry and will be saying... what crisis... the fans LOVE our manager!!

The Kronic 12:10 Mon Sep 8
Re: Is it time for fan action...Liverpool mass exit
Support the club no matter what? When they charge up to 75 notes for a club that's won fuck all in 34 years? There's a fine line these days between being a supporter and being a mug.

The Kronic 12:08 Mon Sep 8
Re: Is it time for fan action...Liverpool mass exit
"30,000k v Sheff United will say the opposite to me... "

......

Nothing to do with £10 tickets then?
